The Authentic & Confident Self-Leader Programme Foundations

Sabotaging voices are the parts of you that create thoughts in your head and generate stress and negative emotions in the way you handle challenges in your life and at work. Throughout this programme you’ll be introduced to the 10 parts of you (saboteurs) that are unknowingly causing you suffering, self doubt and draining you of your energy.

Please have huge compassion for these parts - in childhood they helped you survive!

The Judge - this is the main part everyone has that finds fault with yourself, with others, with your circumstances and causes much of your disappointment, anger, regret, guilt and shame. This tricky character activates your accomplice saboteurs (listed below), some of which will be stronger than others for you - which do you reckon yours are?

The Avoider - you avoid difficult and unpleasant tasks or conflicts in an extreme way and say yes to things you don’t want to. You think ‘maybe if I let it go it will sort itself out’. You are the peacemaker of the family dynamics so that no negativity or tension is added into the mix.

The Controller - you have an anxiety based need to take charge and control situations, experiencing high impatience when that is not possible. You think ‘if I work hard enough I can control the situation so it goes my way, without this I can’t get much done and I’ll be controlled’.

The Hyper-Achiever - you get stuff done but the self-validation, self-acceptance and self-love are all conditional….on how you perform and what you achieve. You’ll adapt your personality to fit what would be most impressive to others, are goal oriented and have a workaholic streak who thinks ‘if I can’t be amazing at what I do, I won’t bother’. You feel worthy only as long as you are successful and others think well of you.

The Hyper-Rational - you focus intently on the rational processing of everything, including relationships and can come across as cold, distant and intellectually arrogant. You think feelings are distracting and irrelevant and value knowledge, understanding and insight above all getting easily frustrated when others are emotional and not rational enough. You often feel different, alone and not understood.

The Hyper-Vigilant - you’re continuously anxious about all the dangers and ‘what could go wrong’ with chronic doubts about yourself and others.  You find yourself wanting to trust people, but are suspicious of their motives. You feel that if you make a mistake, everyone will jump down your throat.

The Pleaser - Indirectly you try to gain acceptance and affection by helping, pleasing, rescuing or flattering others. You lose sight of your own needs and become resentful of people when they don’t offer to help you back. This is an indirect attempt to have your emotional needs met and you think that to be a good person, you should put the needs of others ahead of your own. You’re bothered when people don’t notice or care about what you have done for them.

The Restless - you’re constantly in search of greater excitement in the next activity, get huge FOMO and are rarely present or content with your current activity. You think ‘if I just do this next thing, I’ll be happy’, but when you’re there, you’re already looking for the next best thing.

The Stickler - your perfectionism and need for order and organisation gets taken too far and you can be highly critical of yourself and others. You’re highly sensitive to criticism and believe that if you can’t do it perfectly, don’t do it at all. Others struggle to meet your high standards and you hate making mistakes. It’s exhausting.

The Victim - if you’re criticised or misunderstood, even if you don’t show it externally, you withdraw and sulk internally. You think ‘no one understands me, poor me’ and pick and choose peoples actions/words selectively to show yourself they don’t care about you. You believe ‘maybe withdrawing and showing that I’m sad will get me some of the love and attention that I deserve’.

What makes this coaching programme different to the dozens of self help books I’ve read and courses I’ve been on?

As an ICF accredited coach & Positive Intelligence® coach who specialises working with people somatically using the body, I know that you’ve probably read books been on courses where you are told ‘this is how you do it’ and yet it’s difficult to think your way into a change. You can continue to develop yourself in the way it’s always been done - providing models and theories into the rational brain.

You can want to do something, know that you should do it and then get lost in self doubt, hesitating, overthinking and eventually see no change in behaviour because something is holding you back on a body level, your unconscious mind.

This program’s approach recognises that your mind and body are interconnected and supports the place of learning where you can do something different, consistently and when under pressure. The knowledge you gain will give you the awareness and opportunity to notice your reactions, experiment with new ways of being and overcome self doubt to create lasting, positive changes in behaviour.

Sounds great, what’s the next step?

Excited to meet you!
